MyBusinessTrack applications are the brain child of a Texas Real Estate Broker, frustrated with losing thousands of dollar each year because of expense and mileage transactions he could not remember when he sat down to prepare taxes. It is true, you normally do recall significant expense and mileage transactions during the year, but the grand total of the incidental expense and mileage transactions you incur in the course of your business that are often forgotten can save you hundreds maybe thousands of dollars each year.

Also frustrating, was the purchase of complex accounting packages, which often take hours of study to figure out how to use, and you are dependent on using the PC where you installed the software. In my case, the PC where I had the software installed, permanently crashed and I loss all my transactions since I had the PC rebuilt. Also, the reporting often focuses on the typical "accounting package" reports, such as Profit/Loss statement, balance sheet, transaction register, net worth, etc.
